One of the keys to Sebastien's widely endorsed training program is pushing the body to "muscle failure". As the term implies, Lagree's workout isolates specific muscles until they can no longer move - achieving muscle definition very quickly. The training focuses on the eccentric, lengthening, contraction of the muscle to attack excess bulk in the arms, abdomen, and thighs. In addition to training the muscles to failure, and focusing on the eccentric muscle contraction, SPX incorporates Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) and Sensory Motor Training to increase Range of Motion (ROM), both of which improve performance and reduce risk of injury.
